Green Schools

Here at CETNS we are very proud to be a truly 'Green School'. We have been part of the Green Schools Programme for the last number of years and have achieved our Litter and Waste and our Water Flags. This year we are focused on the theme of Travel. We are making use of the park and stride options all around our town, and getting our steps in each morning. Our 6th Class pupils really enjoyed taking part in the 'Cycle Right' bike training. We hope to have some new cycle parking available to us in the coming year. Our Green Schools committee are a hard-working bunch and spread the word throughout the school of all the different ways we can help the environment. We are always looking for ways to reduce waste and reuse and recycle wherever we can. Keep an eye on our Green Schools noticeboard for upcoming events.
